I Tech 4 Climate’s Mobile Showroom: Driving the Future of Clean Energy

IT4C is preparing to launch a mobile showroom, built from a fully recycled and converted electric vehicle, to travel across France and showcase cutting-edge innovations in clean electricity generation and storage. This traveling space will bring climate solutions directly to the public  particularly in regions where the energy transition is still emerging.

At the heart of the project lies a bold statement: electric solutions work even for heavy vehicles, long distances, and mobile operations.

An electric vehicle for an electric future

Unlike traditional outreach efforts, this mobile unit will be 100% electric, designed to operate autonomously over long distances while powering its own exhibitions. It will serve both as:

• A rolling demonstrator of zero-emission logistics,
• And a mobile education hub highlighting solar innovations, battery systems, microgrid solutions, low-voltage distribution, hydrogen microstations, and more.

This initiative is developed in partnership with X Mobility, the shared industrial factory based in Le Mans and co-founded by Pierre Gillet, who is also co-founder of IT4C. As with all IT4C projects, the aim is not only to demonstrate technologies, but to prove that clean energy infrastructure can be mobile, resilient, and effective.

A platform for public engagement and investor visibility

The mobile showroom will stop at schools, rural communities, energy forums, and regional innovation events  giving people direct access to technologies that can decarbonize their homes, businesses, or municipalities. Inside, visitors will interact with:

• Functional clean energy systems,
• Startups presenting climate solutions,
• Immersive content on the future of energy.

By combining hands-on demos with real data and life-cycle assessments, the bus becomes an evidence-based storytelling tool that builds trust, inspires action, and makes climate solutions tangible.
